EXPRESSIONS with "TIME"

  20. race against time =  so as to finish before a certain time. The people were racing against time trying to save their belongings before the flood reached their home.
  21. take your time = not to hurry. We still have plenty of time before we leave for the theater,so take your time finishing your assignment first.

  23. time is money = expression meaning that someone's time is important. Hey Dawson, time is money; stop joking around and get back to work!
